Insurance Options
No matter what kind of eye care needs you are experiencing, we want care to be accessible and affordable. We accept a variety of insurance plans, and offer an in-house insurance option that offers value and convenience.
In-house Insurance - Save with Lakeview Eye Care.
At Lakeview Eye Care, we offer an inclusive in-house insurance option that provides both value and convenience. For a payment of $500 annually, you will receive a comprehensive eye exam, receive 10% off contact lens purchases, and save 20% on any specialized procedures required.
Regular comprehensive eye exams are typically covered by vision insurance.
There are many options for vision insurance providers including EyeMed, Humana, VSP and more. Of course, they all have their own specific coverage benefits and amounts, but in general they cover routine care like getting an annual exam and glasses or contact lenses. They will pay all or part of the cost of your exam and eyewear and give you a timeline of how often you are allowed to get a covered exam or eyewear allowance.
Medical eye exams are often covered by your health insurance.
If you need an eye exam because of cataracts, dry eyes, complications from diabetes, or in relation to diagnosed high blood pressure, then your health insurance will usually cover the eye care. You don’t need vision insurance for this coverage, but you may be able to use your health insurance to cover your medical eye condition or eye care needs.
